Originally from Provence, she followed a dual training in Visuals Arts at HEAD, Geneva and in Industrial and product Design at ECAL, Lausanne. Graduated in 2018, her artistic approaches relies on color and locals crafts. She took techniques and principles from the industry to adapt them to handmade with the aim of obtain new results, more random and imperfect. Thus the fundamental link between art and design makes the borders of the object more malleable and blur.
After been selected in 2018 among the 10 finalists of Design Parade 13 in Villa Noailles, she worked for Studio Bouroullec as a project assistant. Since few months she came back in the south of France where she set up her design studio named Atelier Mariger, focusing on researches between scenography, textile and handcrafted objects.
